The bill, briefly
Designates approximately 100 acres for the East Saint Louis extension of the Jefferson National Expansion Memorial. Repeals provisions requiring the Secretary of the Interior to approve the plan for the extension. Authorizes increased funding for land acquisition for the extension. Denies authorization of appropriations for removal or relocation of the grain elevator within the East St. Louis addition (owned and operated by the Continental Grain Company). Removes the present authorization ceiling on extension development. Provides that Federal funds expended for extension development may not exceed 75 percent of the annual cost of such development, with the remaining share of such annual costs to be provided from non-Federal funds, materials, and services.
