The bill, briefly
(This measure has not been amended since it was introduced. The expanded summary is repeated here.) Amends the Economic Espionage Act of 1996 to provide for the establishment of 300 additional Boys and Girls Clubs of America. Extends through FY 2010 the authority of the Director of the Bureau of Justice Assistance of the Department of Justice to make grants to the organization to establish such facilities. Modifies the grant application to include: (1) a long-term strategy to establish 1,500 (currently, 1,200) additional local Boys and Girls Clubs; and (2) a plan to ensure that there are at least 5,000 (currently, 4,000) of such facilities in operation by January 1, 2010 (currently, January 1, 2007). Authorizes appropriations for FY 2006 through 2010.

What happened after enactment?
Dated agency-reported implementation and uptake measures are shown with their scope. They do not by themselves establish causal success. If no evidence is listed, the outcome is not established.
Measured outcome: not established
Enactment alone does not show whether a law improved its intended outcome. We need a dated evaluation, observed result or verified implementation record before claiming success or failure.
