The bill, briefly
FTC Collaboration Act of 2021 This act requires the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) to study its efforts to work with state attorneys general to address fraud and scams, including procedures, such as accountability mechanisms, that would facilitate such collaboration. In the process, the FTC must consult with relevant organizations and provide an opportunity for public comment. The FTC must submit legislative recommendations based on the results of the study.

What happened after enactment?
Dated agency-reported implementation and uptake measures are shown with their scope. They do not by themselves establish causal success. If no evidence is listed, the outcome is not established.
Measured outcome: not established
Enactment alone does not show whether a law improved its intended outcome. We need a dated evaluation, observed result or verified implementation record before claiming success or failure.
