Vote Impact publishes a reading of public documents, which means it will sometimes be wrong. Telling us is genuinely useful — corrections are the fastest way this gets better.
Who to write to
- Something is wrong
- A summary misstates a bill, a score looks indefensible, a status is stale, or a link points at the wrong record. Include the bill number and what you expected to see. contact@voteimpact.org
- Press and research
- Checking a score before you publish, asking how a number was produced, or asking about coverage across states. We would rather answer the question than see the figure used blind. contact@voteimpact.org
- Privacy and data
- Account deletion, data access requests, or anything about the privacy policy. Write from the address on the account. contact@voteimpact.org
- Everything else

Before you write about a correction
Two things save a round trip. First, check what the analysis actually read — every analysed bill states its source and a confidence band, and a thin reading of a bill whose text was never published is a known limit rather than a bug. How the bands work.
Second, check the official record linked on the bill page. If our page and the legislature disagree, the legislature is right and we want to know. If the legislature's own record is the thing that is wrong, that correction has to come from them — tell us anyway and we will point you at the right desk.
What we cannot help with
We cannot give legal advice, tell you how to vote, contact your representatives on your behalf, or lobby for or against a bill. Vote Impact shows you who represents you and how to reach them; the conversation after that is yours.
